Here is sheet music for the piano played in Christina Grimmie’s (zeldaxlove64) cover of ‘Through the Glass’. You can download the PDF by clicking this CloudApp link: cl.ly It’s not as complicated as the sheet music makes it appear if you only consider the basic chords being played in the song. It’s a little hard to see what she is playing at times so I’m hoping this will make it a little easier for anyone trying to learn it just by watching her. I tried my best to capture all of rhythmic improvisation that makes each of the repetitive parts sound slightly different. Technically, you don’t really need to learn anything else beyond the first page to get an idea of what is being played throughout the rest of the song. The sheet music does not accurately portray how long many of the notes are actually held down. I used Finale to compose the sheet music and this video is actually an audio playback created by Finale. I used longer notes and an excessive amount of ties to trick Finale to playback in such a way that would make it sound like it was using a sustain pedal, so don’t get intimidated by it. I suggest listening to the audio above while following along with the sheet music, especially if you’re like me and you’re not very good at reading sheet music to being with. It will all make sense. Please excuse any mistakes I might have made.

It has nothing special, except that I got there probably the best moments of my teen years. It was in the 70′s. I would give a lot to be able, just for a while, to travel back in time and spend again some hours on this beach with all the good friends. But that’s not possible… so I write guitar songs.
